You need it louder? We can help! Here’s a rundown of what we have in the store…
Orange Rockerverb 50 MKII Head $2,149
You asked, we listened. The new Rockerverb MK II 50 watt amp is a big improvement in functionality over its predecessor, but the tone remains unchanged.
- Mid EQ control on clean channel
- More transparent FX loop
- Larger, more usable reverb with additional ECC83 preamp valve to power it
- 50 watt models now come stock with EL34 output valves
All Valve, channel-switching amplifier with ultra-transparent effects loop and valve-driven reverb. This amplifier utilises a two stage clean channel with a four stage dirty channel.
The Clean Channel delivers a super rich clean tone with beautiful harmonic overtones. It is a non-master channel, much like vintage Orange amps, and when cranked the power section breaks up faster, delivering the most classic British crunch imaginable.
The Dirty Channel is four stages of unadulterated filth, but it is NOT a one-trick pony. Move the Gain knob from 0 to 10, and as you do you’ll find a variety of Orange tones, from metal to fusion, rock to blues…there’s even some country in there.
All 50 watt Rockerverb Mark II amps offer switchable output valves. This means you can swap the factory fitted EL34 output valves to 6L6s, KT88s, or 6550s. Just make sure you take your amp to a tech for rebiasing!
Laney Ironheart 60 watt Half Stack $1,348
Producing 60 watts of all ECC83 & 6L6 valve tone the IRT60H possess masses of gain and like its metal relatives such as the Laney KLIPP and the Laney AOR hits you hard between the eyes like a power hammer from hell!

The Clean and the Rhythm channels share a 3- band EQ with pull-push shift features on each control that gives you total control over your sound allowing you to dial in that killer tone. The Lead channel has an independent 3- band EQ with pull-push shift features on each control allowing for some radical lead tones.

Vox AC30C2 $1,099.99
An Evolution in Tone
VOX Custom Series amps offer two channels: Normal and Top-Boost. Each channel is equipped with its own Volume control, and the Top Boost channel offers highly interactive Treble and Bass tone controls. This powerful channel pairing provides an abundance of tone-crafting control, letting you dial in a classic sound that is all your own.
Both channels rely on the Tone Cut and Volume controls in the Master section. The Tone Cut control operates in the power stage rather than the preamp stage, allowing an additional degree of tone-shaping. The Master Volume control works in conjunction with the individual volumes of each channel to create just the right degree of gain-staging. By balancing the individual and Master volumes, the Custom Series can deliver everything from a clean VOX “chimey” sound to a powerful overdriven tone.
Sound in Motion
You can sweeten the sound of your Custom Series amplifier using the VOX Classic Tremolo effect. Both the speed and the depth are adjustable, allowing you to generate just the sound you want. A warm Spring Reverb is also included on all Custom Series amps, adding spaciousness to the sound. The AC30C2 also includes an additional tone control in the Reverb section. All Custom Series amps can use the VOX VFS2 footswitch, allowing you to turn the Reverb and Tremolo effects on and off as you continue to play. The AC30C2 also provides an effects loop for incorporating your favourite effects into your sound. True “Bypass” switching takes the entire effect loop out of the circuit.
The AC30C2 and the makes use of 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes and uses 4 x EL84 tubes to deliver 30 watts of power. The AC30C2 uses two 12″ Celestion G12M Greenback speakers. All models in the Custom Series offer a switchable 8/16 ohm output jack for powering an external speaker cabinet when you need to speak with a little more authority; using this jack will mute the internal speakers. Additionally, a 2nd extension speaker jack allows you to run an extra 16 ohm cabinet along with the internal speakers for a fuller sound.

Our unique skid feet design helps to acoustically couple our cabinets to the stage, thus providing a tighter bass response and full range tone definition. The result is a laser-focused tone that’s full of warm midrange.
All Orange guitar cabinets are equipped with comfortable flush handles, and our legendary basket-weave grille cloth.
Orange OR15 Head $699
In 1972 Orange launched a British guitar amp that defined their sound. It was dubbed the ‘Pics Only’. Orange Amplification celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2008 with the issue of an extremely limited edition amp: the OR50H. Due to overwhelming public demand, Orange Amplification have decided to re-introduce it while adding a 15 and 7 watt version – the OR15H – to the 2012 OR Series. Only pictures are used on the front panel of the amp. The OR15H owes more than a nod to this vintage legend; from the method of its construction, the blues rock tone, and of course its desirable looks.
Orange Signature #4 Jim Root Terror Head $699
The Signature #4 Jim Root Terror Head is modelled after the Dirty Channel on the same amp that Jim Root plays in the studio and on the road: the Orange Rockerverb 100. This all-valve, 15-watt amp is capable of far more than high gain rock and metal though. With a full 3-band EQ players will find it easy to dial in everything from vintage rock, blues and beyond. The addition of a valve-driven FX loop allows the user to take the tone in any direction they want.
Orange Dark Terror Head $649
Menacingly small, easily recognisable, this aggressive little amp comes with a mind-blowing sound which combines the Shape control of the Thunder series with the weight and size of the monster Terror family. This Frankenstein-like amp has creepy amounts of gain on tap with disturbingly pleasurable responsiveness. It is uncompromisingly brutal, doubtless unhinged, even ferocious! The Dark Terror rises from the depths to fulfil the every desire of the Heavy Metal and Rock guitar players. With its characteristic fearless Orange Amp looks, heavy duty construction and portability, guitar players everywhere will quickly become attuned to this scary dark force of nature.
Hear its distinctive Orange Amp sound and you will feel this mysteriously attractive force pulling you into the shadow of the Dark Terror. It’s everything you want from a Black Orange Amp. Prepare to ride the Dark Terror storm.

Tube and solid-state, vintage and modern, clean and dirty – the new VR Series has it all. Now, for the first time in VOX’s 50-plus-year history, you can channel switch between legendary VOX tones and higher gain modern tones, all powered by Valve Reactor real tube technology and at a price that will pleasantly surprise you!
VR Valve Reactor
Originally designed for the critically acclaimed Valvetronix modelling amplifiers, the Valve Reactor circuit places a 12AX7 vacuum tube (or “valve”) into the power stage. Known as a dual-triode tube, the 12AX7 is actually two tubes in one. Our engineers have configured this tube to act as a small power amplifier. This circuit provides all of the tonality and feel of an all tube amp. Too small to be used as an amplifier on its own, the output of this Valve Reactor circuit is fed to a high-quality solid state power amp that adds no tone coloration to the signal. This power amplifier also has some special circuits that feed the changing loudspeaker impedance information back to the Valve Reactor. This last interaction of tube, amp, and speaker provides the lively sound and feel that defines an all tube amplifier.

True Tube Power
The sound is pure VOX. Inside, a pair of EL84 tubes deliver on the tube power promise. Two 12AX7 tubes drive the preamp stage with both power and clarity. This is the same winning tube complement as the classic VOX AC15. From chime-like clean tones to the warmest overdrive, there is no mistaking that harmonic richness of pure tube performance.
A single switch lets you select between Pentode or Triode tube operation. In the Pentode mode, Night Train delivers a full 15 watts of power. In the Triode mode, the power is cut to 7.5 watts. The Triode mode also relaxes the tube power stage, letting that silky-smooth, mellow tube character shine through.
Night Train greets you with a clear, simple panel design; offering the familiar Gain and Volume controls. The Tone controls include Treble, Middle and Bass, allowing you to dial up just the right character for your individual, signature tone. In addition, the preamp section features a mode switch, offering both BRIGHT and THICK options. The BRIGHT mode accentuates the high-frequency components for a clear, ringing tone; the THICK setting bypasses the tone circuit to boost the gain and create a chunkier, heavier sound.
Vox AC4TV $319.99
- Affordable all-valve design
- Switchable output levels 4. 1 & ¼ Watt output levels
- Quality vintage Vox styling
- External speaker output
Simple and sexy, the AC4TV wears its pedigree proudly. The cabinetry features the same “TV” front design first used on the classic 1958 AC15, and still in use on today’s AC15H1TV Heritage Series. One of the challenges confronting an all-tube amp is retaining a full tone at lower volumes. To solve this issue, the AC4TV features a built-in power attenuator, with 4 Watt, 1 Watt and ¼ Watt output levels – ensuring you never lose that classic tube tone, even at the lowest listening levels. Want more? The AC4TV also adds a 16 Ohm speaker output, allowing you to add an additional cabinet – such as the VOX412BN – and state your sonic signature with authority. It’s retro, it’s chic, it’s all-tube and it’s all VOX. So what are you waiting for?
Vox Valvetronix+ Series (VT20+, VT40+, VT80+)
When we set out to create Valvetronix, the goal was clear – design a digital modeling amp that sounded and felt great. A versatile amp that could superbly re-create every detail, every nuance of a collection of the world’s most sought after guitar amplifiers. An amp that actually lives up to the promise that digital modeling amplifiers appear to offer, but have never achieved – until now.
THE BEST OF ALL WORLDS
We realised that reaching this goal wouldn’t be easy. That it would require top-notch digital technology plus a valve power amp capable of modeling the power amp sections of a ton of classic and modern valve amplifiers. In over four tone-filled decades, VOX amplifiers have achieved classic, even cult, status. They’re the amps of choice for countless pros. But we knew it would take more than our own guitar amplification expertise. We also needed the skill and experience of a high-tech music equipment innovator.
Valvetronix+ VT20+ VT40+ VT80+
This new range of Valvetronix amps is the successor to the very popular VT-Series & AD “Chrome” series. Features 33 amp models, 22 Effects + 3 separate reverb, 99 Programs and 8 user memories..
Models: VT20+ 20-watt 1×8″ speaker, VT40+ 40-watt 1×10″ speaker, VT80+ 80-watt 1×12″ speaker

Ampeg SVT810E 8×10 Cabinet $999.99
This is the speaker enclosure people mean when they say SVT speaker cabinet. It’s all about tone. Other than the color scheme, it is identical to the original SVT-810.
Why eight 10” speakers? We learned early on that 10” speakers work much more efficiently than fifteens or eighteens—and if you put eight 10” speakers together, you can move a huge column of air. You’d need five 18” or six 15” speakers to move as much air as the SVT-810E! And they simply wouldn’t be able to respond to transient peaks as quickly as our tens.
The SVT-810E is still manufactured using the same design dating all the way back to 1969. The Infinite Baffle design of these sealed enclosures produces vast amounts of tightly focused bass. That’s why you’ll find the SVT-810E on stage with such artists as Chris Squire (Yes), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), John McVie (Fleetwood Mac), and far too many others to list here. In the world of high performance bass cabs, the Ampeg SVT-810E stands tall and proud.
- Tilt Back Handle Bar
- 1/4″ and Neutrik Speakon® Jacks
- Baltic Birch Plywood
- Heavy-Duty Recessed Wheels
- Skid rails
